Leadership programs focus on channeling youth challenges in a positive direction as they progress and enabling them to move to the next level of giving backto the community what they have learned. Mentoring assumed at this level of involvement. Parenting programs focus on effective communication with teens; boundaries and roles as parents as well as the child's role in the family; several techniques to strenthen the family bond; identifying and decreasing risk factors and identifying and increasing protective factors within the family structure;knowing one's strengths and weaknesses and effective ways of assessing appropiate resources that strengthens the family system. Adults receive technical assistance topics such as job readiness, vocational skills, resume assistance and computer skills.

• Preparing youth to be “ambassadors” of Prevention/Intervention

Parenting Programs focuses on:
• The parents role vs. the child’s role while maintaining a strong and positive family bond
• Effective communication within the family
• Setting boundaries
• Techniques to strengthen the family bond
• Identifying and decreasing risk factors
• Identifying and increasing protective factors
• Effective ways of assessing appropriate resources that strengthens the family system
• Identifying and connecting to community resources
